  1. Apologies for the lack of communication as of late. Snitter is broken under AIR 1.1. No timeline yet on a new release. Sorry.
  2. Quick Poll2: Does anybody care that the tweets are storing in a local database and can be searched? are current tweets what is relevant?
  3. Quick Poll: Should Snitter drop the filtering, going back to basics and separate replies/direct streams?
  4. A screencast covering the filtering feature: http://tinyurl.com/2k8e6l
  5. direct messages still work in Snitter. It's all done through the main timeline now (use Filter to view just D msgs)
  6. The state of Snitter: http://tinyurl.com/2lzgc2
  7. Released Snitter for AIR 1.0. http://snook.ca/snitter/ It's not perfect but I know lots of you are jumping onto 1.0. Enjoy!
  8. Apologies for the lack of updates recently. Client work is tearing me away from Snitter. When AIR1.0 launches, Snitter will be available.
  9. @Montgomery I've been trying to think of an elegant way to handle threads. Haven't come up with anything yet.
  10. @cdharrison the thought has cross my mind. I wouldn't be able to push other apps aside but I can auto-hide a docked window. maybe one day.:)
  11. @camiels AIR ties into the OS stack. I haven't discovered a way to specify proxy settings from within AIR. Sorry.
  12. if you're running into problems D msg'ing somebody, redownload .027.
  13. @daysies if you're looking for Flickr Snitter, head on over to http://flickr.com/groups/sn...
  14. @cdharrison I was thinking there wouldn't be enough interest, not that there would be too much interest. :)
  15. @daysies I may or may not do that depending on interest.
  16. @daysies my original plan was to actually have the Web site store user themes, viewable from the app. you could then click and run theme.
  17. @judis217 you won't lose that. I'm talking about losing drop shadow and rounded corners. some reporting 10MB mem drop just with that.
  18. theme specific sounds will be available in next version
  19. ... Hit CTRL-SHIFT-C in Snitter to reload current theme (hopefully the one you're working on). Upload to Snitter Flickr Group.
  20. if you've fancied building a theme for Snitter, it's now easier. Find install folder and hack up existing theme. (cont)
