  1. @jillylivi ...yoga scares me. I tend to contend that men weren't meant to bend that way.
  2. Sooo...I need to figure out what to get my man for Christmas. He's a tech geek, sometimes gamer, who loves myth, history, & politics. Ideas?
  3. #1 sign that I spend too much time on the computer: I can't fully extend my fingers and flatten my palm without mild discomfort.
  4. It baffles me when I meet people who can't accept a world outside of absolutes. X thing must be Y color or they're confused.
  5. Trying so hard to jumpstart my brain today and I can't. Post-vacation, my mind feels like half-melted candle wax.
  6. And I am -home-. ~falls over~ Niagara was beautiful, the vacation was overall wonderful, but I'm glad to be home. ~passes out~
  7. @dailyinvective I haven't; this is my first visit to Canada. Hikaru and I are planning to tour more extensively later, though.
  8. Curled up in a hotel room in Cleveland, hurrying to get today's work done so we can go home. I miss my cat and my bed.
  9. @dailyinvective We were in Niagara. Tourist central and not really representative of Canada as a whole, I know. People were rude. Very.
  10. @Werecat1 Alive, yes. Awake? ~falls over~ ...ohhhh not so much. I'ma pass out soon. Playing tourist is -draining-!
  11. @uppington I wouldn't. I've met too many awesome people online who disprove one odd weekend time and time again.
  12. @Jinxie_G No, I just deadpanned until they got uncomfortable and looked away.
  13. @Werecat1 No, I just suck at crocheting. ~snrks~ I basically do it to relax. It's fun and silly and soothing.
  14. @Jinxie_G I did at the restaurant. Worked my last nerve.
  15. @Werecat1 I make...stubs that never quite grow into scarves. ~laughs~
  16. @uppington I should hope so. The hotel staff has been somewhat rude, too, but it's the Hilton. Hilton = snooty.
  17. @uppington And one woman snottily apologized for her child staring because he'd "never seen an Indian before."
  18. @uppington I have seen like...-two- other non-Caucasian people since I came to Niagara. And they were both tourists. The natives stare. >.<
  19. Things I learned today: There are apparently so few brown people in Canada that it merits staring at me.
  20. ...is, too. Gah. This keyboard still sucks.
