  1. Summer rituals - watching Tour de France. Getting serious today with first mountain stage to Andorra. Hopefully no doping scandals this year
  2. I'm not much of a gamer but PS3 LittleBigPlanet is a lot of fun and very smart. Also has whole world of levels created by gamers themselves.
  3. "United breaks Guitars" - or don't mess with musicians. Deserves new Grammy category for consumer complaints. http://is.gd/1rbLC
  4. Amazing. @FirstRound Capital office hours Cincinnati edition sold out already. Clear sign of entrepreneurial spirit in #cincinnati.
  5. Ready, get set ...make a pitch. Cinti Enquirer article with details on July 13 Office Hours from FirstRound capital http://is.gd/1q9rq
  6. Gave up on setting up network connection for Directv receiver. I've set up many networks but this is stumping me. Maybe some sleep helps.
  7. Up next on summer reading list is Seth Godin's "Tribes".
  8. My rating of Jarvis' WWGD book: 3 stars. Solid 1st half, but application examples in 2nd half are too superficial for me.
  9. Making 'to do' list for my week off. Something is wrong here. Highlight: chainsawing couple of large fallen trees. Free firewood anyone?
  10. @tomob understand it comes with requirement to move to Cincinnati :) We do have (much) better winter weather here - should be reason enough.
  11. Just confirmed: First Round Capital http://is.gd/1l5up Office Hours for Cincinnati entrepreneurs July 13, 3-5pm, Rock Bottom. More soon.
  12. "Free" guru smack-down: Anderson vs. Gladwell (http://is.gd/1jBya) vs. Godin (http://is.gd/1jBz6). Certainly lots of "free" publicity ...
  13. Is there a name for "calendar dyslexia"? That's what I'm suffering from - rather embarrasing.
  14. Visiting Annapolis. Kids are excited - crabs for lunch.
  15. Good Adweek video interview by @eparpis with Marc Pritchard (P&G CMO) at Cannes festival - his first visit there: http://is.gd/1g02r
  16. A few days vacation = start of summer reading season. Top of big stack is Jeff Jarvis' "What Would Google Do?"
  17. "conspicuous expression": can social networking decrease desire for consumption - or is it a figment of "ecomagination"? http://is.gd/1aZc9
  18. Words I will remember most from of an overloaded week: "Clarity of Courage". Thanks Roy Spence (@royitos) for your inspiration.
  19. @cshirky Decrease is for spending on TV ads, not number of ads. Reflects significant decrease in cost.
  20. Local pilots gave kids free plane rides at airport nearby. My son got to see our house & family from 2000 ft - now wants to be a pilot.
