  1. Wooee. Green Lake Luminaria walk was packed tonight. Still lovely, with votives gleaming around the lake, singers, folks walking bedecked.
  2. Cold start, cold finish for today. Looking for chum salmon in Carkeek Park this am. PM: Glug party, crabfeast & Luminaria at Green Lake. Ho!
  3. Phinney Ridge ArtWalk tonight. Pat Gallagher's SpacePunk works out shining. I'm impressed. Art in Seattle fighting on. Encouraging.
  4. Starry, cold, shorefront Shilshole dinner last night: Alaskan scallops. Fueled up then took shots of lighted rigging and sculptures. Brrrrr.
  5. Yank to Pioneer Square to New Orleans Creole Rest'rant to hear Ain't No Heaven 7 swing with Charles Keys. Fab. Pan fried oysters so sweet..
  6. Two years ago running the Hawaii marathon. George, Bob and boys cheer, eat breakfast, then cheer me on again at the end. Am missing that.
  7. Cold clear skies in Seattle tonight. Orion's out. Fremont Artwalk, checking out Laura Brodax's beautiful tile work. Installation for Int'l.
  8. Executive Alliance party downtown Seattle tonight. Chris Sparkman pouring his lovely Lumiere chardonnay and Stella Mae. Yum. Talkin story.
  9. Started day checking out giant full moon. The Olympics were washed pink over Puget Sound. Looking for chum salmon in Carkeek Park. Not yet.
  10. Discussions tonight about AYP Legacy on UW campus in Gould Hall. Seattle's Olmsted historians are first rate. Keep those landscapes alive.
  11. Full moon over Seattle soccer field tonight. Clear, bright, cold. Walked laps to shake out sore 1/2 marathon thighs. Note to self: hillwork.
  12. ooh la la. Small grower champagne tasting by Pike & Western's Michael at Hotel Andra. Sides:crab, duck, salmon, cauli by chef Erik T. Score.
  13. Seattle 1/2 marathon. Need more hill work, got to me. Guys singing show tunes, mile 11. I hit em with Janis Joplin.Oh lord won't you buy me.
  14. Okay, weather looks clear for a good run in the Seattle 1/2 marathon tomorrow. Chilly, but no rain. That's okay. Hoping for a sweet finish.
  15. Back from private music party. Great to see regulars jamming. Bass, violin, guitar, piano, recorder, flute, singers, dancers. Party on...
  16. Thanksgiving fine...quiet sparkle, and reflections... Hope to sleep through the night. Now to prepare for Sunday's 1/2 marathon. Fueled up..
