@ Yeah, UB is great for full builds, not so much for incremental builds. I'd love SSD, it's just too pricey for me right now

Think I'll settle for a Q9650 for now, still a big jump over my E6750 & no new mobo / mem needed . SSD & i7 later maybe

@ SSD is still too expensive for the size though (my projects partition is 250GB). Moving from dual core so some CPU headroom

I so hate getting stuck for hours on stupid stuff. I have a texture seemingly downsampling all on its own. no uv issues, no mips. wtf?

@ I very rarely use desktop Linux. When I do I just test with the command line tools. I only really code in VS and XCode.
