  1. And there it is, my first semester as a teacher just ended. Time for a hard earned much needed break!
  2. One of the teachers I work with just told her class she is having a baby and it is a girl. They said she should name it Junie B. Jones! Ha!
  3. I wore a red long sleeve shirt with a green t-shirt on top. For being so festive, I was given a santa hat to wear as well :)
  4. Last day at school before break. It's crazy to think that I've already completed my first semester of teaching. What a wonderful ride!
  5. @nacoleboan It cracks me up to hear you talk about silence. In my building it's NOISY! Early Childhood vs. High School, I guess!
  6. Nah, I'm not that sick. The doctor just said that I have bronchitis, a sinus infection, and pink eye.
  7. Just got the email from our principal: it's jeans for the rest of the week! What a wonderful Christmas surprise!
  8. He knew three letter sounds when starting special education services in October. He now knows 23!! Way to go, kiddo!
  9. So glad to be back at school after being sick. I sure was starting to miss these kiddos!
  10. One unopened box of kleenex left - it's so time to be done being sick!
  11. We are watching a movie that, in it's opening credits, lists Yo Yo Ma as playing the cello solos. This has to be good! Right?
  12. So this is the difference between the flu and a cold. I so get it now!

  14. Make a list of important things to do today. At the top of your list, put "eat chocolate." Now, you'll at least get one thing done today.
  15. These are they times when it becomes real to me what an important job this is. As he learns letters, he also learns good character.
  16. At the beginning of the year he couldn't color in the lines or write his own name. He just wrote the entire alphabet and numbers with model!
  17. No email in my personal inbox-yes! Feeling horribly sick-boo!
  18. Cleaned out/organized craft materials! Yay for having thoughts and plans for crafting again!
  19. I love shopping for Christmas gifts throughout the year & then pulling them out to wrap in December. Each gift perfect for it's recipient.
  20. The first thing I did on my first snow day? Make my husband an omelet in the shape of North America (not sure how!).
