  1. @vanmega pants are a challenge no matter what you're doing.
  2. How do awkward nerds do at SXSW? #couchbeers
  3. @jordanbehan I'm going to hurtle downtown for #couchbeers. If you hear something crashing into the Strutta building, that's me and my bike.
  4. Is the bike parking situation on the Vancouver Art Gallery block really as bad as I think it is?
  5. @bmann I don't need an excuse to go to Bowen Island on Sunday, but if there's a Tweetup, I'll happily claim that's why I'm going!
  6. Back at City Square for another afternoon of the Vancouver Int'l Jazz Fest, this time for Ta Ki Ta http://tr.im/qO8P http://flic.kr/p/6BBjPH
  7. @xinit0 felt a little bad because three other parties needed the outlet. So did I, and I got there first.
  8. The Grind on Main is renovating the back half, and I have the only power plug.
  9. @dbarefoot with a 604 number. Trying all the local bases I guess.
  10. @dbarefoot I got the same email. Until you mentioned it, I wondered why it came through my contact form, since I don't advertise my services
  11. Fellow Vancouver Art Gallery members: maybe I'll see you tmrw (Friday) at noon for Vanessa Sorenson's tour of Anthony Hernandez' work?
  12. @counti8 a movie I recently watched did the down-and-up pan on an enemy. Is that how humans first encounter people? From their feet?
  13. Nice free iPhone app from @vanjazzfest http://tr.im/qFS2 (Apple Store link). Uses the GPS to tell you how far from the venue you are.
  14. At City Square on 12th listening to David Sikula & Paul Rushka perform as part of the Vancouver International Jazz Festival.
  15. On ultra-short notice, I'm biking downtown to see the Canada Day fireworks. Anybody else there too?
  16. @raschatz that explains the baseballs but it doesn't explain "Disco Inferno"!
  17. Wonder if I'll ever see Jorge Bucardo pitch again. 6 innings of 3 hit shutout ball and a very strong fielding play on a bunt.
  18. @clanmackay the ump doesn't replace a scuffed or dirty game ball with a new one.
  19. In minor league baseball, the grounds crew dances to "Disco Inferno", not "YMCA".
  20. In minor league baseball, a pitch in the dirt is not automatically replaced by the home plate umpire.
