  3. @laurakinsale Is the island in Shadow Heart a real island? (Was just looking at Capri and suddenly thought of it.)
  4. @Zoe_Archer @RRRJessica BLISS is a stunning book. But my favorite Ivory will always be my 1st, BEAST, which ravished me in every sense.
  5. @RRRJessica She thinks Ivory's Avon books have less edge. Let me know what you think when you have read them all.
  6. @RRRJessica Janine feels Ivory's best works are from her Berkley days (in which category she includes BEAST, written b/f she left to Avon.)
  7. @mcvane Judith Ivory/Judy Cuevas wrote Edwardians. BEAST 1902, BLISS 1906, DANCE 1908. PROPOSITION is like 1898 or something
  8. @RRRJessica Tumperkin's post which you mentioned in the latest Monday Morning Stepback.
  9. @RRRJessica & not weird in a good way. You can see the Rosemary Rogers influence. Def. a caterpillar book.
  10. @RRRJessica I wouldn't bother w/ Angel in a Red Dress. I never finished it. Bits of fab prose here & there, weird relationship.
  11. Guest-blogging at T J Bennett's place today. http://bit.ly/34d8bg
  12. @PortiaDaCosta Read @MeredithDuran's 2nd & 3rd yet? They are set in the 1880s. And thanks for having all mine, btw. :-)
  13. Received revision letter for HIS AT NIGHT. Much to overhaul, as usual. Will wait till my usual initial panic passes. :-) And where's cake?!
  14. Heard from @meredithduran yesterday. She is well but super busy in India. Will surface when everything is more settled.
  15. @LauraKinsale The contemp was my beater car for 2.5 yrs 4 working at my pace & my pleasure. Not switching, just trying to monetize. :-)
  16. Submitted the contemporary to my agent at last. Now we wait.
  17. @SonomaLass Thank you. I will do my best on the fabulous part. :-)
  18. @AnimeJune LOL, it is too early to order BEAUTIFUL. Wish me luck in getting it under contract first. :-)
  19. Putting down first lines to new historical proposal. Will call it BEAUTIFUL for now. W/ not-so-beautiful heroine.
