  1. OH OH OH and Thatcher Farm sent top-notch egg nog in glass bottles!
  2. In stock are nine copies of the COOK FOOD EVERY DAY community cookbook, whose proceeds benefit the Greater Boston Food Bank.
  3. Last but not least, three different varieties of handmade soap from Forest Karma of Somerville, MA. They are fragrant and very pretty!
  4. Stoned wheat crackers from Deli-Catessen of Hingham; Grinders full of various smoked and herbed sea salts from Maine; Herrell's hot fudge;
  5. Lots of new non-perishables today. Salad dressings and salsas from Drew's (VT) and Appalachian Naturals (MA);
  6. New wheels of both Bayley Hayzen Blue and Lake's Edge today, both totally delicious and very handsome.
  7. Finally: we have Sherman Market gift certificates available. These make great gifts for anyone who eats!
  8. Fiore di Nonno restocked mozzarella and (by request) burrata (both onion/garlic and fig).
  9. Crown of Maine Organic Co-op sent popcorn, organic garlic(!), and two hydroponic basil plants - grab 'em while they last!
  10. Many new products today! Lake Champlain Chocolates include Hannukah gelt, along with 5 Star Bars, peanut butter cups, and loads more.
  11. There is a very nice, grass-fed, local brisket in the fridge, and another in the freezer - call if we can thaw it for you. (617 666 0179)
  12. Arrived: Misty Knoll chicken breasts, Vermont Smoke & Cure bacon; received also one sample pack of yak sausage.
  13. Global Balance has delivered Somerville's new favorite hand soap, and lots of it, in two varieties, plus dish soap
  14. We're accepting canned food donations at the cafe as part of the Union Square Food Drive to benefit Project Soup of Somerville.
  15. Today's produce delivery included two radicchios, leeks, broccoli, sweet potatoes, and a full set of herbs, all organic, from Red Fire Farm.
  16. Restocked kombucha and Liberté yogurt; received full compliment of coffee beans;
  17. Exciting cheese day: New wheels of La Luna, Ascutney Mountain and Bourrée. We are in TIP TOP cheese shape for this weekend, come get it
  18. Hardwick beef presently in the fridge: Flatiron steaks, ground, and a brisket. Some andouille too. Fresh bagels today also
  19. Also: Satsuma mandarin oranges from Florida via Enterprise are amazing: peels fall right off, fruit is sweet and flavorful, wowee!
