  7. @yancylent MyISAM or InnoDB? it should be less because you're changing from 4 bytes to 1 (INT->TINYINT) AND you defrag.

  17. @ryanolson make sure to set PATH, or use the full path to the binary, like "/usr/local/mysql/bin/mysql". does "ls -l" show the file exists?
