  1. Support art: http://bit.ly/16HIOx
  2. Phonogram, by @bremxjones & @McKelvie, is (among all else) some of the best music criticism out there (even when it's on bands I don't know)
  3. Final Crisis is impressive, even brilliant; but I think I prefer Grant Morrison in less Wagnerian mode (The Filth, 7 Soldiers, even Seaguy).
  4. @surajsharma Thanks!
  5. @warrenellis I thought Militant Modernism was a great book. I went on a walk thru London with Owen; he finds the oddest streets & buildings.
  6. Gyorgi Palfi's Taxidermia: viscerally disgusting, and an utterly brilliant allegory of pre-, during, and post-Communism.
  7. Finding Muriel Combes' book on Simondon extremely helpful (sorry, French only): http://tinyurl.com/nabnty
  8. Embrace economism.
  9. I wish they would release, on DVD, a director's cut of Jerry Lewis' great last feature film Smorgasbord (aka Cracking Up).
  10. Trying to write all day while alone in the house. But at a certain point, I just need to let go until tomorrow.
  11. I wonder what's up with Xam Wilson Cartier, who published two great novels in the late 1980s/early 1990s, but apparently nothing since.
  12. @kdotdammit Happy Birthday!
  13. @dreamduke I do like to read on the Kindle, even though there are some frustrations. It's better than reading stuff on the computer screen
  14. @roychristopher My bio: "I was born several weeks after Anthony Stewart Head, and several days before Jackie Chan" (actually true).
  15. Your weekly dose of HATE: http://bit.ly/uWcUG.
  16. How can it be that none of McLuhan's works are available on the Kindle?
  17. Contra Stuart Kauffman, what we get "for free" isn't necessarily order. It can be unbinding or destructive just as well. (cf Bataille).
  18. I wish it were true (but it ain't) that anything worth saying could be said in 140 characters or less.
  19. @doctorzamalek Just finished Prince of Networks this afternoon, btw. I think it's your best book yet.
  20. @doctorzamalek I don't have a theory yet, just a suspicion. Working on it.
