  1. @geomantic Problem in the States is finding Old World quality sauerkraut and canard. Problem in the d'Oc is finding Alsatian wine.
  2. @jatorre You're using something that abstracts away the web and you're surprised? ;)
  3. @LieberJosh I have yet to hear a French person say "well, it all ends up in the same place."
  4. @rotula Fixed. Thanks!
  5. Fixed my rel="where" link demo: http://where-link-rel.appsp....
  6. I owe #geoinst a blog post, but am so busy.
  7. @epoz Yeah. Map and reduce.
  8. Instead of dinde, we're going to have choucroute garnie for our Turkey Day repas. Alsatian Riesling or Gewürztraminer fits either.
  9. @erilem I visited their lab last fall. Great folks.
  10. Is goat skin parchment a "GeoWeb" format?
  11. I see from @geobabbler's statuses that Twitter's GeoJSON coords are [flat, wrong]. #geofail
  12. Despite all the buzz, I'm not seeing any geolocation in the public timeline.
  13. This #twitter API example has bogus #geojson coordinates: http://tinyurl.com/ykghch9. Are the actual responses valid?
  14. The "Teach the Controversy" graphics are sweet, but useless in secular, science-hugging France.
  15. @cageyjames It's working!
  16. Conneg is not the only way of "time traveling on the web". Imagine a cache that makes snapshots and heels to min-age or max-fresh headers.
  17. Did I ever feel like crap Saturday and Sunday. I don't know how you jet setters do it.
  18. @erilem I'm hoping that with js on both ends of web GIS, fancy stuff like OGC filters can just quietly die.
  19. Cute: our almost toddler did some proto-dribbling with a ball. Footy, not b-ball.
  20. @geobabbler Speaking of Whole Foods, I hope passing of the #hcr bill gives its douchebag CEO a tummy ache.
