  1. After living with Tokyo Cabinet and Tokyo Tyrant for a couple of months, I'm pretty happy.
  2. Thanks, @MassHighTech
  3. RT @MassHighTech: Congrats to 5 Startups to Watch: CentricInfo, @cheaptoday, @DailyGrommet, @langolab, @serendeputy http://bit.ly/2wKtX7
  4. Interesting to see the swarm of bots hit the server after a link to Serendeputy is posted on Twitter.
  5. A little overloaded with sales work the past couple of weeks. A nice problem to have! Upgraded the servers to more gracefully handle spikes.
  6. Upgrading the backend storage. Things might be wonky for a few minutes, but it should be fine (actually much better) in a little while.
  7. Indexer is done. The memcached server is in much better shape now...
  8. Rebuilding the index. Might be a little wonkiness while it's running. Should be all set in 20 minutes or so. Thanks for your patience!
  9. @teaperson Similar to the AP problem. I'm not sure of a rigorous way to do cross-publisher de-duping. Any thoughts?
  10. @teaperson Thanks for the feedback! Absolutely agree on the smilies; on the list to revisit. Not sure a simple way to solve the *sugar
  11. Installing Tokyo Cabinet today. Looking forward to seeing what its performance profile looks like.
  12. Tons of meetings and calls this week. Having fun introducing the publisher product to the market. Getting good feedback and making progress.
  13. I'm about to blow up the site to upgrade. Please excuse any wonkiness for the next couple hours...
  14. The indexer is taking a little longer to do the clean rebuild than I was hoping. It should be done within the next couple of hours.
  15. Rewriting one of the foundational personalization pieces this week. Should make things much snappier and more stable. Or, break everything.
  16. Hmm. One of my more important pages decided to slow itself down by 10x. Grr.
  17. Indexer is being a little cranky. Please forgive any wonkiness while I figure it out...
  18. @jabrams Thanks! http://serendeputy.com/from...
  19. The incremental indexer has exposed some new bugs. Hooray. Gets a little better every day. (in the meantime, please forgive any wonkiness)
  20. Just rewrote the indexer to run incremental updates instead of full-replace. Should greatly improve cycle time from publish -> index -> live
