  2. left Austin at 4am and just got to the Willis Wharf side of Atlanta. Home tomorrow
  3. The shed prototype was finished yesterday. It took 3 people 2 days to assemble it to this stage...pretty cool.
  4. 4 days and 1956 miles from Willis Wharf to Austin
  5. Leaving for Austin tomorrow...first to Atlanta, then the Rural Studio in Alabama for a day, then on to Texas
  6. All the Maker Faire tools and bits and pieces were loaded on the truck and left for Austin today
  7. Will finally finish cutting parts for the Maker Faire this afternoon. Then haul to Durham early tomorrow to load on the truck for Austin
  8. just got one of the tiny Dell mini laptops...$399 with XP.
  9. Cutting 25 stools for the Maker Faire this morning, then spending some time cleaning the shop before loading plywood
  10. The truck's coming this afternoon to pick up the cut parts for the floor, so we can make room for materials for the Maker Faire shed
  11. Finished up before lunch then worked on t-shirt designs for the guys that will be assembling the ShopBot-cut shop at the Maker Fire
  12. 60 sheets cut in the last 2 days. Will finish tomorrow then on to Dave's stools.
  13. Working on a floor for a homeless shelter in New York that looks like a contour map...90 sheets of ply with lots of wavy lines

  15. Some wind and power blinks but not much rain. Lucky...
  16. Getting ready for Hanna. Sure wish I had more confidence in the roof of my shop...there's lots of stuff in there that won't like being wet.

  20. $860 in tires and $180 for mounting and balancing...gas isn't the only thing that's pricey with a camper!
