  1. @gilesgoatboy: Thanks a lot man. I appreciate it.
  2. Officially logged enough hours to start vacation. Woohoo, time to shut off my computers for a few days...
  3. @bradediger and I are looking for new projects to work on in early 2010. Anyone have challenging contracting work to send our way?
  4. Have challenging contracting work? @bradediger (author of Advanced Rails) and I might be able to help in early 2010. DM if interested.
  5. It feels like "Twitter Hacked" should be a trending topic. Censorship?
  6. @gilesgoatboy: Just learn to cargocult the 3 or so lines you need into your apache config. Not ideal, but also far from a challenge :)
  7. @david_a_black, thanks :)
  8. @bil_kleb: Yeah, this is the first one I missed since 2005. :-/ Here's hoping for next year!
  9. I'm encouraging users of Prawn to voice their opinions before we start making some major decisions about 1.0 ( http://is.gd/5bSc6 )
  10. @blowmage: I am in negotiations with the wi...fiance. Luckily she's a geek so there's a chance I can make it to #mwrc.
  11. Although TCR is a training, it won't be just a dull infodump. I imagine hackfest + lessons in context + good conversation = fun
  12. I like Ruby events, but I get lost in the buzz at large conferences... a smaller event will help make sure I get to know people.
  13. I've been bad at marketing it, but I'm really looking forward to The Compleat Rubyist. ( http://thecompleatrubyist.com ).
  14. I must be getting some sort of special performance from @JEG2 at my wedding with him thinking he needs a month to prep for it :)
  15. Wrote some docs today: "Using Prawn in Rails" ( http://wiki.github.com/sandal/prawn/using-prawn-in-rails ), thx to @rnhurt for inspiration
  16. This week I dabbled in Erlang, startting to port TTFunk. Can someone give me a quick code review? http://gist.github.com/245562
  17. Jia and I got tired of not being able to watch movies with her parents. First crack at fixing that: http://github.com/sandal/subway
  18. @yob_au: I cheated by just bolting it on top of Daniel's stamp support. Not sure of the implications, but should work.
  19. New repeating element support in Prawn, uses XObjects ( http://is.gd/54WTW )
  20. @gilesgoatboy: I follow step 1-2, but replace step 3 with "If you emailed me and didn't also record this somewhere else, it's your fault"
