  1. resolves to quit tai chi and perhaps try again in a few weeks with another teacher. But better not doing it at all than doing this.
  2. "the break/s" at ACT was electrifying. (More like that please.) It runs through tomorrow; still a few seats left.
  3. fails *again* to buy a sundress. I swear I'm not asking for much. But nothing that even begins to work for me is on the market this year.
  4. and Josh are babysitting a crow fledgling that had gotten separated from its adults. If they're not here by 4, little crow's going to PAWS.
  5. is considering finding a different tai chi teacher. Know anybody in NE Seattle?
  6. Second tai chi lesson. Still utterly baffled, but now baffled about new things.
  7. @arjache Are you going to see him this Friday, then?
  8. always feels a little weird about seeing people's "wall-to-wall" notes on her Facebook feed.
  9. @arjache I go to Guanaco's Tacos in the U District. It's kind of a hole in the wall, but a cheerful one, and the pupusas are addictive.
  10. thinks it's going to be time to go out for pupusas again pretty soon now. Maybe next Tuesday.
  11. returns from her first tai chi class. Conclusion: I sure have a lot of arms and legs. Not that I'm looking to lose any.
  12. Apparently my blood vial (for a lipids test) broke in the centrifuge. Eww, messy. Upside: I get free tests for bloodborne illness.
  13. grr snap snarl hiss sneeze cough sniffle grrrrr
  14. Favorite plant name, at least for today: the Portuguese slobbering pine. http://www.sarracenia.com/f...
  15. @breadandcirce because they're wonderful? They always seem to me to promise organization and order, i.e., peace. Click click, click click...
  16. is nostalgic but unsurprised that the TU's going splat. Still glad I helped renters when I did. http://publicola.net/?p=7777
  17. puts off shoe shopping *again*. Still trying to make summer's schedule work.
  18. RT @cascadebicycle Anti-bike bogeyman Eugene Wasserman says pedestrian safety on Aurora is "a false issue" http://bit.ly/menlH
  19. goes a little bug-eyed trying to get her schedule sorted out.
  20. (oops: taijipedia.net.) Played w/ the first two lessons of yang taiji 24. I think the slightly tricky bits start at the beginning, frankly.
