  1. @mathewi Doesn't work on the iPhone, but desktop GReader can just "send to" Twitter. (You prob know that, though.)
  2. Aw. A recent-ish @thismagazine column of mine got a shout out in Eye yesterday. http://bit.ly/4Z7WRs
  3. Thanks internet. My life is so much richer and more complete for having discovered the word "crywank". (Yes, it means exactly that.)
  4. Just, wow. RT @shawnmicallef: Most un-euphamistic condo sign ever "buying a lifestyle" (am *not* defending this) http://twitpic.com/q0wxc
  5. After a 2 month stint at the folks', things I need a break from: Punjabi food; Punjabi music; Punjabi; my Punjabi parents.
  6. @reeraw Late reply, but I meant the culture is here - the mix of arts, online, hipsterism etc.
  7. RT @amandafrench: A timely reminder of what's *good* about academia (vs. business)from XKCD: http://bit.ly/1tNoOT
  8. @reeraw Think the NYC-centric nature of Tumblr also to do with Karp's connection to Williamsburg hipsters.
  9. @reeraw @scroll thinks tumblr could break out in Toronto, and I agree. There are the beginnings of 'a scene'.
  10. @DougSaunders Heh - very true :)
  11. @DougSaunders Yep. Also, unrelated but will mention: our occasional twitter convos recently impressed a woman. True story!
  12. @DougSaunders None at all. Running 64-bit on a Core 2 Duo. Significantly faster than Vista too (or feels like it anyway).
  13. @DougSaunders Much smoother and more intuitive (on the right hardware, obvs). I'm actually really impressed. It immediately felt 'natural'.
  14. After using Win7 on one computer for ~2 weeks, back to Vista on another. Already, Vista feels clunky and illogical. Win7 really great.
  15. @thehartley Was initially excited, but lack of easy pdf support and no free books from Google makes it a tough sell.
  16. Butter on my cheese, egg and bacon bagel? Sure. In fact, if you could just wrap it up in these papers, I'll smoke it while I walk to class.
  17. @gokittycatgo Yeah, it's for real :(
  18. RT @mondoville: 'Amazon Kindle and More than 300,000 Books in the Kindle Store Now Available to Customers in Canada': http://j.mp/1hCxBH
  19. @ZoeSasha Don't click through to the actual post. The other stuff there is even more weird.
  20. Deep fried fish. That's still alive. Yeah, you heard me. http://bit.ly/126juQ
