  1. @snolen That's b/c Indian sweets are so full of sugar, the mosquitoes develop Type II diabetes and then pass it on. Totally logical. Ahem.
  2. @RJToronto Can't get sound from lappy right now, but I liked the vid! Impressed by the 3GS quality too - thus far had no plans to upgrade...
  3. "All you can eat sushi". Like the Midas touch, the dream, once realised, becomes a curse.
  4. I still use Gmail's Mail Goggles, largely in the hopes that one day I'll have a reason to drunkenly email someone something I shouldn't.
  5. For some reason, my blog is the #2 result when you Google "Moe Tkacik". Apparently, PagerRnk now factors in crushes.
  6. All things considered, there are worse ways to spend a Friday night than in front of a keyboard, writing about things that intrigue you.

  12. @RJToronto No, I know what you mean - all of the flavour, none of the inconvenience :)
  13. @RJToronto I'd second Lahore Tikka House. Motimahal is also good for cheap, straightforward Punjabi food.
  14. And look, my 2000th tweet was about both an epistemological shift and Lord of the Rings! It's, like, so 'me'. Oh God.
  15. I'm starting to think about the cultural transition we're living through in Tolkeinian terms. As in "We now enter the Third Age'. Yeah.
  16. Dear Anheuser-Busch: to most of us, 'Bud Light Lime Weather' would involve a global hurricane being led by four horsemen.
  17. @robinsloan I agree - and I love blogging. I'm just concerned about being taken advantage of (and am also tired of being broke!).
  18. The question just became slightly less abstract for me: should one ever write for free? I'm actually asking. Thoughts?
  19. @jaimewoo Agreed. A tag cloud for both friends and the one's local area would be so much more useful.
  20. If, after proudly rattling on about it, you've suddenly felt sheepish after learning what 'tossed salad' also means, #youmightbecanadian
