  1. @pjozefak Hmm, that doesn't look like Hamburg. :-) New Zealand?
  2. @pjozefak This is one that I caught from my window about a year back, one of my favorites: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/364...
  3. Such an OCD evening. I've been writing loads of manual layout code in Javascript to get *just the right* positioning of dynamic elements.
  4. Fighting with Safari JS bugs at the moment and not looking forward to the trial-by-fire when I move on to IE.
  5. @AnthonyBarba Sure, sounds like a plan. Just ping me when you're back in old europe. :-)
  6. Whew, good meeting this morning and much planning done afterwards. Pulled me out of my tunnel vision some. :-)
  7. @celestelynpaul So you thought to yourself, "Dude, where's my car?"
  8. I've written code in Ruby, PHP, Javascript, C++ and Java in the last 4 hours. This is getting a little confusing.
  9. Really good writeup from Slava of RethinkDB on the YC interview process: http://bit.ly/1Ba3S4
  10. @AnthonyBarba Howdy - thanks for the shout out, Berlin massif and all. :-) Think I met your co-founder (?) ages back at Seedcamp Berlin.
  11. @getrealordie Sounds good. The progress so far is really great. It's cool seeing the features fill out, but still with a sane interface. :-)
  12. @Fractality @janl We use blueprint on our homepage, but the thing I was doing was more ... fine-grained. In retrospect, tables were correct.
  13. @albertwenger Wait, I'd heard that replacing all of the useful navigation on your site with just a search bar was the next big thing? ;-)
  14. The worst thing about being a founder is that the difference between weekends and the week is minimal. That's also the best thing.
  15. @mattwensing Yeah, I futzed around with CSS for like 10 minutes ... and then 10 minutes later I had it looking great with tables. ;-)
  16. This just in: layout with tables still much easier after all these years.
  17. Ah, a little quantum physics humor, about the LHC: http://bit.ly/1e9VvR
  18. @henryl Email and a to-do list, which is crap. But despite trying about a dozen system, we'd not found anything that really worked for us.
  19. Just checked in on Dashboard CRM for the first time in ages. It's come a long way and looking good; still not quite there yet for us though.
  20. @sirtajkang I mostly use it to generate MIDI and pipe that over to a separate synth.
