  1. Head is spinning. So many lose ends that need to be tied up in the next few days. Did some personas for a website redesign today.
  2. My home directory has files named foo.c, foo.cpp, foo.sh, foo.py, foo.pl, foo.rb, foo.js, foo.php and foo.xml. Time to cleanup, I suppose.
  3. It's a bad idea to have one window open writing a mail to an investor and another writing a mail to an ex. Accidentally swapped some content
  4. In a five minute span I missed my train and accidentally canceled a large import that had been running for ages. Good day in general though.
  5. @ferric Amusingly, @sirtaj said the same thing. @vipulved you in the city or valley?
  6. It seems that the best way to make sure that I stay up late is by scheduling a meeting in the morning.
  7. I'm not sure if they have broadband in hell, but I'm sure if they do it's provided by AT&T.
  8. Ugh. Gmail is marking our mails as spam. We only sent out about 270000 of them. Oh, wait, no, it was just normal person-to-person mails.
  9. @cperciva The "If you've ever used tar..." line would probably make a good tagline / slogan / something to place prominantly on your site...
  10. @cperciva Oh, I figured as much. Just another thing to learn. Usually things like that seem like they'll be more effort than they are.
  11. @mxcl Showers kill your startup. Just like sleep. Just so you know.
  12. Trying to psych myself up to get us up and going on Tarsnap in the next few days.
  13. @cmon_scum Yep, a bit, but that was a while back. I've been debating for a few months actually cutting it short. We'll see.
  14. @jdeneut Perhaps tweeting to a bunch of people that aren't following it?
  15. Just created an account on Daily Booth to try it out. Who wants to be my friend? http://dailybooth.com/scotchi/
  16. @mikebutcher At least you can tell they're serious BY THE CAPITAL LETTERS, right?
  17. @achitnis While I'm critical of some of their rhetoric, I feel like 37signals is pretty good about being on-message on their product pages.
  18. @macfergus Already have a couple of the features up and going. Kind of mixed reactions on the language at the moment.
  19. @markbao Was talking recently with @shaun510 about how I wish there were standard SAX-like parsers for JSON.
  20. Needed a break from some of the harder problems that are looming code-wise, so it's off to the Python bindings. Which means learning Python.
