  2. @QualityFrog @michaelbolton in both cases, it's Mother Nature saying to stop killing trees!-) What is this printing you speak of?
  3. @mcmuttons I've written parts of Monopoly, practiced design, etc more than 100 times with it. Kata in sense of practice, not strict form.
  4. @mcmuttons yes. A lot has to do w/controlling variables. Monopoly as a kata for me has been most valuable.
  5. @mgaertne up until now I have not asked ... How was your paper/experience report received? Or did you tell me and I flaked?
  6. At OKC, leaving for AYE conf. Woot! OKC new parking garage open to boot. Day starting well. Lunch w/COO later today.
  7. dynamic keyword in C# -> runtime method selection even for non-virtual methods. Wow! Nice to have. Don't use it all the time, of course.
  8. The "Test" in Test Driven Development is a mechanism; it does not represent intent. #ObviousThingsToSayOnFriday
  9. @ Tulsa Tech Fest: Going to learn about C# 4.0 & do a little TDD on the side. Say hi if you're here. I'm in the back (East-ish) of the room.
  10. @mcmuttons Kata's are about practice. Reduce # variables to focus learning.
  11. @cgorshing Sure! Sounds good to me. Subject, programming language?
  12. @mcmuttons If you publish your results for the C# bowling kata, let me know. I'd like to have a look. I've done it in C# as well.
  13. Presenting at the Tulsa Tech Fest (http://www.tulsatechfest.com/) today at 4. You going to be there?
  14. Dave Nicolette is in Okc this week, in Bricktown. Lunch tomorrow at 11:30 anybody? I'm thinking Abuleo's. DM if you're going to show.
  15. @uladoo #NYR 47, cardio.
  16. Dash of NLP, wailing & crying -> cathartic. I recommend it.

  18. To our beloved Scipio, killed by a car early AM, 2009/10/29. We love you. Goodbye. http://twitpic.com/nl61a
  19. @tieTYT I don't like the implementation I ended up with. It's ok, but I've done it more since I wrote that. So it's dated.
  20. @tieTYT BTW, I recently looked at that and cringed a bit. So take w/grain of salt
