  1. @tbrant it's crazy...I can understand not responding to each and every query, but being unidirectional does not make a spectacular author.
  2. Reading iPhone book author blogs and it seems quite a few absolutely don't want to provide additional help through comments for free.
  3. @graiz is it going to be a UI prototyping tool? Or a complete app generation toolkit?
  4. @mzarra technically yes. It's just a matter of configuring the build. You might run into dependencies issues though. Arch is slippery.
  5. @JohnAByrne good luck on the new venture, and hope you create many jobs! :)
  6. @gruber apps are good for brand positioning and promotion, IMO, but there's very little advantage compared to a well written web service.
  7. @gruber google apps, more so latitude.
  8. @sumaya sorry if I came across that way, but I wasn't commenting on your startup. I have just been there with some bad companies. Good luck!
  9. And, hey...the shitty stock vests in 5 years...when the company has been shut down. Bad deal for young people. It should be illegal.
  10. I have seen 'entrepreneurs' in NC offer 50 cents an hour based on some shitty startup valuation...and they don't even plan to go public.
  11. In most cases it turns out to be risk for founders, but foolishness for workers. Besides, that stock isn't worth anything until IPO @sumaya
  12. First your university profs lure you into grad slavery on the pretense of assistantships, and then failing economy makes ppl work for free.
  13. Working for free sucks! RT @sumaya: Having a call on all the applications we're receiving from writers wanting to join our startup team!
  14. Lets see what comes of this Indian PM visit for trade and jobs.
  15. @elbirth jellis
  16. The Perils of Part-Time Work was aired on the Kojo Nnamdi show today. Going to give it a listen later - http://bit.ly/7xHxBs
  17. @elbirth check this out - http://mashable.com/2009/11...
  18. @jonathangarcia thanks...I should have checked up other sites for news :)
  19. Is Facebook being slow for anyone else?
  20. RT @natfriedman: Keep calling & RT please! Dial 646-502-4595 x60924 and sing happy birthday to @migueldeicaza.
