  1. These people should be grateful they are not lynched by mobs for their roles in the GFC. http://bit.ly/6JHoLI My advice -- there's the door.
  2. Annoyance = one coworker has an utterly irritating footstool that makes a god-awful sound, like finger nails being dragged upon chalk boards
  3. Late = without breakfast to train. Everyone looks suitably lythargic. Twenty three empty days of worship to the church of consumerism to go.
  4. Joyful as this weekend boasts a trip and train. Recent pre-Christmas soires suggest that my film camera might make it's way back here. Woot!
  5. @lynnyew I'm excited by many things, snow is one - irrespective of the time of year, though this place is the epitome of the white Christmas
  6. Soup search = fail. I discovered a bagel place, and when I asked if they had capers, he commented, 'yes three years ago'. Food has fashion ?
  7. Bugs, code and sql I'm about ready for lunch. The wind is numbing my fingers, and my nose will feel almost frozen as I wander and seek soup.
  8. People are scraping ice of their windscreens this morning but much like the Sandman the Snowman is still very much absent from this location
  9. A rough day, with some less than good decisions. Searching my head for various tunes to hum myself to sleep with, as my noggin's kicks it up
  10. The more I live here the more the cliches seem real, I woke up and there's a foul wind, dark sky and patter of rain - this will all be hard.
  11. Armed with Australian Shiraz, bound for friends I have not seen in years -- the wine is for the pre-christmas type of Christmas celebration.
  12. I was cautioned about this; little past four thirty in the afternoon and the city's been plunged into night: this affects us all very much.
  13. After a satisfying slumber, I'm looking through the skylight at a comforting blue sky as a plane is hurtling pass & the pale blue dot turns.
  14. @lynnyew wine would of been a good choice. Still there are dreams out there in some exotic locations, where you can have fresh spring rolls.
  15. Am now the only passenger left on the bus. Well me and the driver; it is an odd experience. There's something deeply awkward about this all.
  16. Getting colder to the point, that the hole in my jeans is now the gateway for an icy shard of air to get at my thigh. Food and good company.
  17. Feeling a little out of phase as the sleep I sought is now short; but I am forgiving partly for the man, history, kinship and the good will.
  18. To the good man I know of Wagga wagga I do appreciate your call, admittedly less so at four-thirty in the morning. Now I am unable to sleep.
  19. If what we read says some thing to the world about us, then, to all of you who are aboard the train reading 'The Sun', I will judge harshly.
  20. @bojanz if you could see what I could see right now you'd be so very very horrified. It is now time to seek a light lunch and stroll around.
