  9. @jowebbuk RipLock is part of the drive firmware, like the region code. I think all DVD drives have it, but some can be hacked (=> Google)
  10. @jowebbuk That is probably not a software problem, but RipLock limiting the ripping speed in your DVD drive.

  14. The RGB LEDs are controlled with standard MIDI, 3 controllers for R-G-B
  15. @Raaphorst It is a standard USB Audio and USB MIDI device and should work with any software. The RGB LEDs - of course - need special support

  18. @ashleyproud GarageBand can not be downloaded, it is part of iLife and only runs on Mac OS X
