  1. My son acts like a middle school boyfriend: I think we're just going to hug, but he's moving in open-mouthed for a big wet french kiss.
  2. Ezra and I have discharged our civic obligation. The state's attorney thought he was cute, but not Grand Jury material.
  3. Looking for me and Ezra on Monday morning? We'll be down at 26th and California, serving on a grand jury. I think he'll be firm but fair.
  4. Afternoon nap, I welcome you back with open arms. Please have a talk with morning nap about reinstating the full package. Thanks.
  5. Tooth! Oh wait. TEETH.
  6. Sandy and I managed to pull off Thanksgiving a day early for some of Ezra's adoring uncles/aunt. We both dozed off before dessert.
  7. Ezra just rolled while holding his blanket, creating a baby burrito. Of course I left him there--head wrapped in blanket--to get the camera.
  8. Huffington Post interview deems my brother @zachlieberman, a "humanity-boosting computer artist." Right on. http://bit.ly/2mZq1X
  9. Finally, finally, FINALLY got an H1N1 vaccine.
  10. One of the many ways I effed up my first foray into DIY yogurt: instead of keeping it warm in the oven, I accidentally baked it at 350.
  11. is hip deep in Cincinnati chili.
  12. I have a brand new cold, just as I got completely better from the last one. Feeling very, very sorry for myself.
  13. Ezra just got approved for All Kids, ending my irrational fears that we were going to end up scavenging for Dtap shots on street corners.
  14. Let's pretend that I PLANNED to let the garden get so overgrown that I could (really!) harvest coriander seeds off the dying cilantro.
  15. Ezra outgrew his bassinet while we were in NYC, so last night it was off to the big-boy crib in his own room for the first time.
  16. Ezra slept a block of almost six hours last night. It's like he saw that copy of the Weissbluth book in the house and got scared straight.
  17. Julie & Julia made me want to make buttery buttered butter with cream on top. Since I'm my mother's daughter, I made granola instead.
  18. Ezra is 15 lb 4 oz, 24 inches long, and full of vaccines.
  19. Oh, buddy. It was so thoughtful of you to get the poop on one leg and the spit-up on the other. Symmetrical!
  20. Ezra has started smiling and cooing at my nipple. They are totally BFF.
