  11. @BevaniteEllie Effectively on the second death. Most first deaths leave all to widow/er, which is IHT exempt.

  13. Parents Evening tonight - the first one in Year 9. Next one (in January) will be for GCSE choices. Gosh, she's growing up fast!

  17. @l4zyb0y72 Contracting out can save money, although less so nowadays. Decision as to whether to have CPZ is up to residents & councillors.
  18. @adoran2 You get a really nice community with kids & parents and people looking out for each other etc. I was surprised how strong it was.
  19. @adoran2 Less tips, more experience. Friends who drove to a 'slightly better' school often wished they hadn't.
