  1. @barbylon NASA style guide would not be my reference of choice. Merriam-Webster or OED, yes. M-W says "often capitalized" as Earth's sat.
  2. @hauck Agree Luna is a proper noun, but it's not the name we use for our Moon. What to do? Moonar?
  3. @lukedones (Thanks for the excellent question.)
  4. The words "lunar" & "terrestrial" are not derived from proper nouns, so are not proper adjectives. The bodies are named the Moon and Earth.
  5. Okay everyone, I'm only gonna say this once. "Martian" is a proper adjective, as it is derived from a proper noun. Always capitalize it!
  6. @bsag My fiance has had something affecting his inner ear for months - I can't imagine the agony.
  7. @pugofwar Could you pick up some extra Izze's for our office, too, please?
  8. @meatflag We might wanna go!
  9. @meatflag Amen, brother.
  10. I love how US media couldn't care less about a hurricane until it nears the US coast. Who cares about the Mexicans & Cubans? </snark>
  11. Ida = underwhelming. Bring out the sun, please, before this vacation is over.
  12. Keeping a wary eye on Ida.
  13. In three hours, noise will go way down and signal will go way up.
  14. Who says sucking up doesn't work?
  15. @jagosaurus Sounds like a sign of the apocalypse.
  16. Back in Denver, and I won't even have to sleep at a hotel. Hooray for the plow guy. #snowedin #mountainliving
  17. THEMIS team meeting, day two. Love it, but kinda sorry I'm not home in front of the fire with @riprock and cats, watching it snow.
  18. Stunningly gorgeous day in Sedona today. Next up: Phoenix.
  19. @whymommy Try www.dpreview.com for detailed reviews and you can search by features for cameras.
  20. @barbylon Pedi at the airport? Sounds brilliant.
