  1. @andyfowler Would be very cool indeed to do that with FIXMEs too.
  2. Just finished a financial statement and gathering 3 years of taxes in preparation for loan application.
  3. Does anyone have a Google Wave invite? We are trying Yammer for group status updates, but I would like to look at Wave too.
  4. @schwa When connecting iPhone earbuds/mic to MacBook Pro whoever I am talking with can hear what I am listening to. Is that your problem?
  5. 'Health Officer' is a pretty title for a person who deals with not-so-pretty things (septic systems).
  6. My father-in-law is out looking for the 'Health Officer' to determine if we can go ahead with building on our land.
  7. @DericHorn GitX is the best so far in my opinion.
  8. @andyfowler I highly suggest you modify your Sennheiser's, if you still have them: http://www.flickr.com/photo...
  9. And to all the SIMBL haters, I know. Show me a better way to inject my code into Screen Sharing.app and I will do it.
  10. Released a SIMBL plugin for 10.6 to bring back keyboard/mouse control disabling in Screen Sharing.app http://bit.ly/screensharing...
  11. @silfreed Congrats on the land, we are currently pricing out building on land here, are you looking for construction loans at all?
  12. @silfreed According to recent reports your use of Windows is down (good), Linux is up (neutral), and OS X is staying steady (bad).
  13. @benz0 Looks good, tell April I said goodbye and good luck.
  14. @andyfowler Posting from the future? http://bit.ly/RV2VZ
  15. @balleman Loving Infrastructure (http://bit.ly/infrastructur...) so far, good recommendation.
  16. @andyfowler Some ORMs are better suited for separating the model data structure from its storage medium.
  17. @andyfowler You aren't required to use all AR sub-classed models, but rails tries to be simple by default. I tend to like other ORMs myself.
  18. @andyfowler That is the norm in rails if your objects map to a db table.
  19. @andyfowler Certainly not, you can easily have a model that does not either need persistence or uses another mechanism for persistence.
  20. @andyfowler Congrats on the premiere!
