  1. @QuiteSleepy so jealous of you and nick and your ability to get hounddogs. Hate! Travel safely, though.
  2. Getting ready to board a plane on Dallas. <3 ipod. We are beautiful, we are doomed.
  3. @joshuabaer Hey, nothing wrong with a little c! Other languages feel too easy to accomplish things in, haha.
  4. I need to write c more often. I feel closer and more in control of things.
  5. @MikeyLythcott Haven't you seen the hipster chart and how the mountain man look is in?
  6. numb3rs really brings the science/math geek in me out.
  7. Ugh, have to brave the airport tomorrow. Fun times :(.
  8. @wornwhite Must have seen it when I went there with my sister. I knew it looked really familiar.
  9. @wornwhite Do they sell those at sugarmama's? Looks familiar. I should get my wife one, she'd probably love using it while baking.
  10. I cannot emphasise enough that my body is a badly designed, poorly put together vessel
  11. i'm now singing that >.>
  12. @wornwhite no! Did it come out today? Oh, we kid ourselves, there's future in the fucking but there is no fucking future
  13. @damon Yah, I know I owe you a bio/talk summary too. Just having issues with what to name it....silly, yes.
  14. Finally bought keynote, time to start working on my January @austinonrails talk.
  15. I would also argue that the data layer isn't as much of a bottleneck as people on /. claim since facebook claims high memcache hit rates.
  16. @mperham "Presentation Layer employs PHP." However, "High CPU and memory consumption." Same article, pros/cons. From facebook.
  17. @mperham but obviously, I know for a fact that's not the case so it's just manipulating statistics and ignoring the big picture.
  18. @mperham Well, it depend... If we're talking about numeric computation 100% of the time, it's going to be c++ by more then 10 to 1.
  19. @MikeyLythcott I'm jealous, but I'm waiting to see it in Charlotte with Alicia (she's already there)
  20. @joshuabaer Never had an issue to this date with it.
