  1. Thanks to my secret santa, and to everyone at work for entertaining my children. They had a great time and want to come back again.
  2. @thisisryan Should you change your mind you can borrow mine, they thought you were great.
  3. @timbribe Fantastic present! Happy birthday.
  4. Cooking up a festive storm whilst drinking wine, listening to music and watching the snow fall. Feeling the Christmas spirit now.
  5. Sniggering at this article: http://is.gd/5qsbS
  6. Off to watch the school nativity. I will cry (and no doubt embarrass my children).
  7. Bus strike, Christmas shopping and Wednesday in the bottom three. Bad Saturday.
  8. Managed to get mayonnaise on my neck in disastrous sachet opening situation. Burger was good though.
  9. Today's pointless parenting task: writing a diary for a toy dog.
  10. @PeteMandingo Perfect. Have also tackled a couple of small inclines in a bid to get back into the running groove. Hurting a bit now.
  11. @PeteMandingo Huddersfield 10k, end of Feb - fancy this one? It is a bit hilly apparently...
  12. Slightly worried oldest son is becoming a Spurs fan - he has been watching the 9-1 goals on footytube and waxing lyrical about Defoe.
  13. @PeteMandingo Hey fantastic time Pete, well done!!!
  14. Playing board games with small children guaranteed to end in tears and fights (my tears, their fights). Giving up and putting the telly on.
  15. I'm just glad I've been to London today and not Germany.
  16. Then left bus pass at work but bus driver let me on the bus for nothing. And now I have just trodden on a frog.
  17. Fri 13th drama: lost engagement ring leaving work, cue much panic and searching. Found it on the pavement near Bibis. Thanks for all help!
  18. No longer want to do homework with my children: tonight was asked if I was alive when Mt Vesuvius buried Pompeii. In AD79.
  19. @Groovypants I'm heading your way. Reluctantly.
  20. @em606 Oh yes, it's a fabulous (and memorable) read.
