  1. my new #Gmail filtering technique: immediately archive and label just about everything. Google Notifier still on but far fewer interruptions
  2. new MacBook Pro sent from China, to US, to Hamilton to Fredericton and back to Hamilton; thanks #UPS for the joyride. Ottawa soon? #apple
  3. ...the iPod Touch could be a gateway (drug) to an iPhone purchase ... should I worry? ;)
  4. ordered up a MacBook Pro 13" (w/ 4GB RAM) and iPod Touch ... can't wait until it gets here!
  5. just taught his Mac to spell-check in Canadian English - not too obvious how it's done but it's nice how all of the apps can (and do) use it
  6. > my software offspring listed at http://www.disruptiveagilit... - I will be polishing a few of them in the upcoming weeks
  7. would rather make software projects than write. Projects are my offspring - they are agile opinions in action instead of talking or writing.
  8. Google Chrome OS is getting some nice buzz, yeah ... but it's vapourware until it ships. Why announce it before the open source release?
  9. my local Subway discontinued carrots for salads ... how about more selection, not less?
  10. the way things are going, my Rails projects won't be leaving Ruby 1.8.6 for a very long time ... following Rubinius very closely though
  11. got my copy of The Well-Grounded Rubyist in the mail today -- nice work David! http://manning.com/black2/
  12. RT @ezmobius: "engineyard is now maintaining ruby 1.8.6 http://bit.ly/BlwVp" - very happy about this!
  13. RT @maggiedebarra: "The Ottawa Public Library has free wifi! free internet..." - nice! Didn't know that
  14. GCal's quick add kept time the text for a month, Gmail has broken 'always show images from...' - what's with the regressions, Google?
  15. someone please help Greg Millen before game 7; it's Var-la-mov not Va-larm-ov #cbc
  16. @daverooneyca: that's the idea, there's no innovation in serious :)
  17. CBC has it right: the NHL wants the new southern Ontario team to cost half a billion, not $212.5M. This is why SillyBalls will fail.
  18. @daverooneyca: to avoid certification I made up my own 1-3 developer lightweight process from some best practises :) http://lighterest.com
  19. "...we don't run out on cities" could be the quote of the year
  20. oh SillyBalls, you rascal ... you're at it again
