  1. The past week gives me much more respect for triathletes with kids. Seriously hard work!

  3. Started the day with a bike and a swim. Then just lazing about again. Won't be going on too much longer though, back to work next week.

  5. Finally I'm starting to feel up to training again. Should be just in time for Busselton at least.
  6. Lunch was... You guessed it half a chicken!
  7. @ironrosey Sunny here and pretty warm. Yep hope to qualify early, if not here then at NZ. Going for another podium though and 9 hours!
  8. I remember when I could watch Star Wars over and over. This time did training plan, dozed, read a cycling magazine... Even did washing up!
  9. Hard day - Easy morning swim, coffee stop, lunch, now planning IMWA build and watching Star Wars. Later I'll cool off in the pool I think!

  12. @jontsnz I use a powertap it's great. Check out Aero Wheel Covers - convert a training wheel into a disc wheel for races.
  13. Unsurprised by average race performance. Positives - bike went well. Negatives - swim didn't! Flat on the run, lacked usual pace too.

  16. Off for an early morning swim. All part of making sure I can still do all this before Sunday's race.
  17. Three days to ITU LC Worlds in Perth, just done first bike ride in 10 days too. Legs hurt!
  18. Done with flying for a couple of months. Settling in in Perth now.
  19. @smaryka Today was my last day of carbs! Been indulging in them since Kona. Back to paleo from tomorrow. Got races to get lean for again!
  20. Swam in favourite Sydney pool, coffee and cheesecake in favourite Sydney cafe. Weather was beautiful again. Off to Perth tomorrow.
