  1. Just had our first meeting w/ the early intervention program. We'll hear what their scores are/what referrals they need in a couple of days.
  2. I can't actually remember the last time I had a shower. That probably means I'm in need of a shower.
  3. The boys are 3 months old yesterday! Happy 3 months boys!
  4. The house is starting to look semi-normal. 12+ weeks of dirt is a lot to clean. Altho we have lowered our standards now that we have twins.
  5. I said to Mr. S today when he asked me if I wanted to take a shower, "But I had a shower yesterday." Yep, it's official, I'm a parent.
  6. @dvmkat There is probably truth in that.
  7. I can't believe I'm going to admit this, but I'm kind of craving hospital food. My palate clearly needs refining.
  8. RT @growingyourbaby Prematurity Awareness Month: Meet 24 Weeker Dalton! - http://bit.ly/8SQfVj #fight4preemies #marchofdimes
  9. Today I'm thankful to have my sons home. So thankful for that. Happy Thanksgiving, folks!
  10. Oh, both boys are asleep at 11pm! Quick--time to sleep. Perhaps they are starting to get days and nights less confused? I'm hoping so.
  11. Then Mr. S went to work for half day. I'm proud to say that I made it through the half day all by myself.
  12. Then I took the boys on a walk in a park. I think it was the most exercise I've had since June when I started bedrest. It felt really good.
  13. Then we took the boys out for bagels. Our first public outing! We picked somewhere not too crowded & w/o a lot of children. It was so fun!
  14. Big day today. First, off to the pediatrician. Tristan weighs 8lb4oz and Asher weighs 7lb9oz. I feel proud that they are growing so well.
  15. I'm not saying it is easy, but it is a lot easier to breastfeed the boys rather than doing a gavage feeding through an NG.
  16. @Gobstopped Thanks! We appreciate it!
  17. Even exhausted, sleep deprived and maybe a touch sick, everyday I marvel at just how lucky I am to be a mother to such wonderful boys.
  18. Happiness is hearing the boys babble and play with each other. Especially when the docs said that they would never do such things.
  19. I know I'm the mother of twins because I've become a speed eater overnight & I'm perfectly content eating cold meals.
  20. We've been home from the NICU a little over one week. In that time, we've gone through 250 diapers. That is a lot of diapers, folks.
