  1. Legacy index for mirroing is back in action once again, regenerating them daily. If there's problems ping @qrush!
  2. RT @tcopeland: Disabled RubyForge gem index cron jobs... had been running variations since 2003! It's been a good time.
  3. DNS for gems.rubyforge.org will be pointed to Gemcutter around 10PM EST tonight. Woot!
  4. looks like update.gemcutter.org was borked due to a missing period in the CNAME entry. fixed now!

  6. DNS switched! If you don't want to wait for your DNS cache to update, in your /etc/hosts: 72.4.120.124 gemcutter.org

  14. Heads up: We'll be going down for ~5-10 minutes shortly to run a long migration that fixes the latest indexing bug.
  15. Cleaning up some bugs in our indexing code, gems with prerelease versions may not install right without -v (only ~15 gems) Will fix soon!
