  1. RT @scotrubyconf: HOW CAN WE DO A BETTER JOB OF GETTING THE WORD OUT ABOUT THE #SRC CFP ? http://tinyurl.com/src-cfp
  2. We'll start accepting proposals for talks for RubyConf India in the 1st week of December. Watch this space for updates!
  3. The proposal review committee has been finalised and consists of @olabini, @chadfowler and @lifo; a big thanks to them for making the time.
  4. @pradeep24 The call for proposals will open in the first week of December (or if we can manage it, even earlier). Watch this space!
  5. @deadprogram Consider yourself invited, flyingrobot and all!
  6. @arungupta Absolutely :)
  7. @arungupta Yes - we're putting together a proposal review committee at the moment; we expect the CFP to open early December.
  8. RubyConf India dates are almost finalised! Looks like it's going to be March 20th and 21st 2010. #rubyconfindia #InRuCo
  9. Working on putting together sponsor offerings. Expect more on that as well as on proposals by the end of the week.
  10. @tan1337 Resgistration should open 4 to 6 weeks before the date of the conf. We'll start accepting proposals for talks very soon, though.
  11. @noufalibrahim I can see where you're coming from wityh 'RubyCon', but the original international conference is badged 'conf' - RubyConf.org
  12. Shorter suggestions so far (for when you're really out of space): #inrconf09 #rbconfindia and #InRuCo...
  13. Poll result: Most think #rubyconfindia is unambiguous and a good idea and we should use it, but its rather long.
  14. @laktek Yes, we will be accepting proposals. We're just getting things in place before we start doing that, say by the end of the month.
  15. What should we use as the RubyConf India hash tag for tweets? Is #rubyconfindia ok or is it too long? Any other suggestions?
  16. The RubyConf India splash page is now live at http://rubyconfindia.org !
  17. @singh_janmejay Sure, we will include feeds and IRC once we have the actual registration website up; this is just a placeholder.
  18. @ramkumarh ty for the spellcheck - its fixed now.
  19. Did I mention that the site at http://68.68.99.16 is for review and feedback before we go live? We're looking forward to hearing from you!
