  1. Please *DO* RSVP if you intend to camp. Be assured that you may hear @elight snoring from his tent..
  2. And we now have room reserved for 12 tents with up to 2 people each for the evenings of 9/18 and 19 for the TRUE campers.
  3. And, yes, we will have the website updated accordingly soon. Pardon our dust.
  4. Currently working on getting contiguous camp sites with electric at the campground at Bull Run (walking distance from Ruby DCamp).
  5. We are officially a *GO*. We have just reserved 3 shelters at Bull Run park http://www.nvrpa.org/parks/... for 9/18-19.
  6. And there will be true camping as in campground. Camping is a completely optional part of the event #rubynation
  7. We're a self-organizing open space event that will be 9/18-19, *FREE*, and held, yes, at an outdoor (covered) venue #rubynation
  8. We and @jsconf have teamed up for awesome food and drinks at Mon Ami Gabi! #rubynation
  9. @Spune the actual camping part will be entirely optional; to help out of towners but also to facilitate late night group hacking/chatting.
  10. Just to clarify, an outdoor Ruby DCamp would be held in large pavillions at a local campground + real campsites for true campers w/ electric
  11. @ggentzke How about some catnip with your sunshine?
  12. @rdjenk Weather not a huge problem when the event is held in pavillions. ;-)
  13. Make that 5 for 5. Make yourselves heard!
  14. So far, 4 for 4 in favor of real camping at Ruby DCamp
  15. Please do let us know how you feel about Ruby DCamp in the great outdoors.
  16. Having wild ideas for Ruby DCamp for this year while talking with @voodootikigod (aka @jsconf)
  17. Consider shaking things up this year. What if Ruby DCamp was held at a campground in a covered (not enclosed) space with electricity?
  18. @fuzzymonk Darn straight TDD rocks! Bring some TDD love to @ruby_dcamp this year. ;-)
  19. @ychaker It's still there. We'll be updating it soon for this year. Expect it in a few weeks.
  20. If you are a DC area local, you would be remiss if you were absent from @rubynation. Later share and use what you learn at @ruby_damp
