  1. Finally received my Vietnamese motorbike and car license in Vietnam today after driving without one for six years.

  3. Rumors of Facebook being blocked in Vietnam finally look true, several ISPs confirm. One step forward, two steps back for Vietnam progress.
  4. Back in Saigon. Backlogged piles of work at the university. This week still: RMIT project from Melbourne, Japan Foundation visits Saigon...
  5. At Kuala Lumpur airport returning to Saigon. Thanks to The Japan Foundation and all the curators and artists in Singapore and Malaysia.
  6. In KL with lunch in Melaka. Met up with Sau Bin at the National Art Gallery of Malaysia, where the curators conference continues tomorrow.
  7. Singapore leg of curators conference finished, bus to Kuala Lumpur tomorrow morning. Good luck to CET and her ISCP exhibition on Fri in NY.
  8. 5th Asian Curators Conference in Singapore and Malaysia.
  9. Easing back into the rhythm of semesters and classes. Updating courses and priorities.
  10. Deja vu. 6hr transfer at Bangkok airport again. Returning to Saigon from Yangon. Scored a sweet set of Thai architecture books at duty free.
  11. En route to Rangoon to meet with artists
  12. Departing tomorrow for Burma. The final and sixth city in a month. Will be nice to finally have some at home time shortly.
  13. One night in Bangkok (barely). At Suvarnabhumi returning to Saigon to prep for tomorrow's lecture. New semester at RMIT. Oh, and to sleep.
  14. Off to Bangkok in two hours. Back to Saigon in 24. Yeah, typical: One night in Bangkok.
  15. One more day in Singapore. Made some prototype Angkor vine/roots from thick telecom wire. http://htxt.it/i/sqIz

  18. Spent 40 minutes with Ho Tzu Nyen's video, Earth (((Radio))). Worth every second. Donna Ong's work at SAM also lingers.

  20. The early travel chaos has settled. Now at SMU for the arts residency. Everything seems now under control.
