  1. @jzb Because Mozilla isn't Google :)
  2. RT @JamieMythBot: 5pm again, tweetin' time. Deep Thought rounded up. Deep Thought is a chump.
  3. Just arrived at #pdc.
  4. FYI, my VA/SourceForge/Geeknet email is now disabled - the new one is ross at rossturk.com. Have a good weekend!
  5. @johnmark SAP has OSS efforts? :)
  6. @bret_clement Hey, thanks for the heads up - I think I'm gonna be at #PDC that week, though. Are you going?
  7. @LisaH Mine is probably Polite Dance Song http://bit.ly/18sycS #curious
  8. @cantersdeli Awesome to see you on Twitter! My favorite: turkey pastrami reuben.
  9. I want to exercise, but I was sick all weekend. Don't wanna do it too soon and get sick again. Maybe I'll eat some salty garbage instead.
  10. @nambucom Cool! Let me know if you'd like early feedback on it.
  11. @nambucom I would love the option to do automatic translation of tweets - you could show an icon that indicates the original language.
  12. @cote Maybe that's the next logical evolutionary step for the generation of users who double-click on web pages? :)
  13. @johnmark Seems they've gotten that figured out now. The problems, from what I can see, are with small stuff like vol buttons and trackpad.
  14. @johnmark That's true, but if it were a quick and easy process, I know a lot of people who would dual-boot.
  15. @netllama The fact that it's *also* the most proprietary system that exists makes me more than a little sad. :)
  16. @netllama Because it's the only one I've found that always works without fiddling, always does what I want it to do, and makes me happy.
  17. @johnmark It seems to me that most of the problems have to do with the fact that nobody's made it important enough yet. I don't get why.
  18. @johnmark I think that's a bunch of crap. You *can* get it to work, it just never does out of the box. It requires tons of hacking.
  19. @mjasay Although, truth be told, I'd much rather see open companies do more to convince the market that open process is a differentiator.
  20. @johnmark Because that's how Linux can appeal to users who seek the best desktop experience. Go where they are; right now, they're on mac.
