  2. @skot23 Indeed. There's nothing like the sound of hippies.
  3. Wonders why Hippies can't name anything accurately. Case in point: Universal Waste = 3 things you might throw out. Not exactly Universal!
  4. finds it fascinating that all the anti-depressants folks flush down the toilet are making lobsters more aggressive. ARRRRG! Angry lobsters!
  5. is at a coffee shop, IM'ing her husband who is sitting directly across from her.
  6. @mims Is that what's his name from sciam? He should try freelancing for Tech Revu. As far as I can tell, they pay best per quantity of work.
  7. @alexismadrigal Do you have to work out of SF? I know a tech reporter who speaks German and French but lives in Europe. Rather permanently.
  8. @mims I've never had to build a CMS. Always worked at places that bought them. I have been shopping carts from scratch though!
  9. @mims re: news-coding. If there was such a thing, it'd be done in XML, not PHP. What the heck are you trying to make? Your own CMS?
  10. @skot23 You're still on the GROUND?!?!? Blarg!
  11. It's Week 31. I'm STILL vomiting. Please folks, use a condom. And the pill. Whatever it takes. Let me be a lesson to you all!
  12. @alexismadrigal Vannevar's Memex? Sure. But I wrote a column on the history of technology. Plus, my fellowship was once named after Bush.
  13. @thantastic Unless you've gained A LOT of weight, I don't think I could pass for you right now, what with the whole pregnant belly thing!
  14. @thantastic Sooooo NOT boring! Developing nano safety standards is mega important! It's also one of my pet causes.
  15. @teacurran Gargling with warm salt water is probably a better bet than Tussin.
  16. @thantastic I see they borrowed fake rocks from the original Star Trek series for that cover photo.
  17. @Brad_King Yet another reason not to listen to country music. ;)
  18. Q: How did you asses the success of your algorithm? A: Basically, we figure any plan is better than having robots fly around randomly. LOL
  19. @alexismadrigal Try the media line for Rutgers Agricultural Experiment Station. (732-932-7000, ext. 4201) Those folks know their pumpkins.
  20. I can't believe I'm looking at articles with December embargo dates. Where did the time go?
