  6. Walking in the cold, its absolutely freezing. Oddly though, I love when it is this cold. Just wish I had worn a second pair of trousers.

  9. Just back from the amazing TTT Winterfest, stalls, stories, stands by all TTT groups, food, conversation... and loads and loads of people!
  10. Just sent in TTT's DECC Low Carbon Challenge bid... pulled an allnighter, my 7 year old deleted a near-finished file at 8 this morning!

  12. Just hear I won the 2009 Energy Saving Trust/Guardian 'Green Community Hero' award! There'll be a big piece in the Guardian December 2nd.
  13. Hosting 'How We Used to Live' event in Totnes this evening, a mix of oral histories and slides, looking at resilience in the town's history

  15. Judging by texts I've received, my #TED talk is now up. Be good to see how it turned out (I'm still on trains); it was pretty nervewracking!
  16. On train from Munich to Cologne (very long journey). German trains have great recycling bins on them, for paper, glass, plastics and food.
  17. Taking a final glance at pine clad hills wreathed in mist, with snow capped mountains rising behind. An EU version of #SnowFallingonCedars
  18. Starting the train journey home, to Munich, then Cologne, Brussels, London, Totnes. Been a great couple of days, very inspirational.
  19. Just been beaten resoundingly in a table football Ireland v France rematch. I played for Ireland and it was 10-4 in case you're interested.
  20. Listening to talks by Ashoka fellows on their work. Amazing. Local food systems, tackling malnutrition,training refugees,new finance models.
