  4. Saw Bad Lieutenant: Port Of Call New Orleans for the second time today and enjoyed it even more than the first time....dark, but very funny
  5. The new Tom Waits live album gets a solid 80 on metacritic.com scale . the Susan Boyle album gets a "skip this" 59.......
  6. @Harpsiii good point. Gram Parsons DOES deserve to be in Country hall of fame as well as rock hall of fame.....

  8. NME has just posted its top tracks of the decade... Crazy in Love by Beyonce is better choice than the Strokes on the best album list...but
  9. I'd say the chances of Guns n roses getting into the rock hall of fame are 99% ; same with Nirvana (99% and on first ballot)

  12. @tcmckeller X is a great band, but its rock hall of fame chances don't look good, sorry to say. X hasn't even made nomination list so far

  14. @jfdulac Yes I think metacritic can be trusted to assign numbers to ungraded reviews--as long as critics are clear in their reasoning
  15. GOOD TV VIEWING....if you like lighthearted detective shows like Monk and the mentalist, try WHITE COLLAR ..it's on USA Network...lots o fun
