  1. @petedafeet I prefer Caipirinhas, but mmmmm!
  2. @Ben_Hall I could understand if there was a manual element to it - but I assume it's a fully automated process?
  3. @mixmasterfestus - the mos def album really is a corker isn't it
  4. @mixmasterfestus That's a negative
  5. RT @Skepticat_UK: My latest blog - Homeopathy: there's nothing in it. Part 1. http://bit.ly/5mqP8a #ten23
  6. You know things are going well when you call the office to ask how things are and are greeted with maniacal laughter
  7. @Cranialstrain Good to hear it - I'm taking my camera down to Devon with me tomorrow, hoping for good new years day weather :o
  8. Is it considered lazy to make a thermos of coffee and then keep it in your room while you work because putting the kettle on is hard work?
  9. @tasteforreality Now I'm pouring most of my focus into work projects, getting paid more - but sacrificing the ability to write code at home
  10. @tasteforreality More of a focus shift, was just writing code for whoever paid me enough to survive so I could work on my own projects more
  11. Also #in2009 (okay, late 2009) I decided to make an effort to see the #rdg people more often, turns out I quite like them all too :)
  12. #in2009 I changed career focus and gave being a salary slave a go, it turns out that it's a perfectly acceptable lifestyle choice. Go figure
  13. @Cranialstrain Erk, "think", how about "hope" and "know"!! (Also, shame about the knee I guess) ;-)
  14. @RoryWallace Not just open source, but lightweight, easy, simple, does what it says on tin, etc etc. Winrar = very 90s
  15. @GraemeF Well, I did apply a bit of shot-gunning to my code until I'd removed all the code and realised that the test was wrong! Oops
  16. Funny how the so called "BTOpenzone One Hour Voucher" is actually for 90 minutes of consecutive use - not that I'm complaining
  17. What we should keep in mind always is if your unit tests work, then it only proves that your unit tests work.
  18. Just spent a fruitless hour trying to fix code because a test was failing, before realising that of course that the test itself was wrong.
  19. Advantages of business class flying already becoming clear, I reckon I can recoup the cost with the free bar in the three hours I have...
  20. @amykate I'll be passing through in the evening, hopefully I'll be able to hit butter market for an hour if my flights work out! :P
