  2. So many backpackers smoke. Few of them Americans. I guess the US's anti-smoking campaign works.

  5. Feeling a little bit sick mainly because of the smoke. Guatemala doesn't ban smoking yet in bars & restos. I miss Cali.
  6. Meeting a lot of backpackers on my trip. Most are on Facebook. If you are not, you are forced to. People don't give out emails anymore.
  7. can't wait to start coding in django again. It's hard to get a good environment to code while travelling.

  13. I'm amazed with Facebook's popularity. A lot of people here in Guatemala are on it. It's also like a status symbol for them.

  18. @John_Idol Yeah, it's just one off. I'm using SVN to deploy changes to my app so it should be easy from now on. I'm on Slicehost.
  19. @John_Idol I tried it last weekend. Took me 8 hrs. It's difficult for a Windows guy. I only had SSH to work with.
  20. In San Diego for a few days before trip to Guatemala. It's nice to see old coworkers and friends again.
