@ Also, don't know if I trust random proprietary RAID, given that I'm a bit leery of un-backedup RAID to begin with.

@ Hmmm...it looks like it has iSCSI (which uses gig ethernet), but that's not really NAS (no direct sharing btw computers).

@ It looks like their NAS adapter only works with the drobo, not the drobopro, if I'm reading the site correctly.

Still haven't figured out storage. I feel safer with separate non-RAID drives+regular backup than 1 monolithic RAID system. Paranoid?
