  1. @bluebelleinbg You had me at "bacon." <swoon> #fuckyouarteries
  2. @evoque Even with Ian McKellan, I live in fear of the AMC remake. OTOH, the original source novel just picked up a reprint!
  3. @drezac Have to have my calendar manageable/editable by other people, & work well w/ mtg invites/notices. More a calendar thing than email.
  4. Nothing but problems since moving my UK email from Gmail to Exchange. Frustrates me that people are having emails to me bounce weeks later.
  5. @evoque @pmicka I was chuckling thinking of Moore laughing evilly over the "prayer" part. Heh. Somebody send them a copy of Lost Girls!
  6. @kprentiss What gave me away? ;)
  7. @kprentiss Key is speed. Launch w/lots of content ready, pre-posted, bld numbers/audience fast. Community, good publicity will protect you.
  8. @kprentiss Faculty or staff/admin? Faculty: just do it. Staff/admin: find a champion up the ladder to block downfield. Then just do it.
  9. @kprentiss A university blogging committee? Seriously? Next week on "When Social Media Policies Attack"...
  10. @Renee_Innosight Very sorry to hear of your loss. I still miss my grandmother 18 yrs later. Hang in there.
  11. @robmorris2 Hey, hope you're feeling better soon!
  12. @bethkraemerky Hey! Congratulations to her!
  13. @CaitlinatIDandA That's funny, because lately MY mantra has been "Check out the hook while my DJ revolves it."
  14. These numbers are awful. '10 session will be "fun." RT @cattleprod: OH NOES: October receipts down. KY's going broke. http://bit.ly/quskF
  15. @three50one But yes, this is a topic best left for a #sconesummit. Too hard to do subtleties in a 140 character limit.
  16. @three50one Labels are helpful, b/c they describe discreet schools of thought within discipline of economics that led to specific policies.
  17. @three50one I'd argue, as @rkhane did earlier today, that the neo-Keynesians had it a lot more right recently than neo-classical economists.
  18. @MikeMullenUK Maybe we should be talking to our advisors about SL and BBN as alternate methods for reaching students here?
  19. @dvs Yeah, much too complicated to get into here. I generally disagree w/ both schools of thought, but all econ is problematic, flawed.
  20. @dvs Chicago school differs from Austrian School largely in terms of monetary policy. Hayek was Austrian School, but taught at Chicago.
