  7. Broken cell phone, coupled w/ no rental car (when @turnpikegates visits) - today is trying my patience/optimism. Thank goodness it's Friday.
  8. Feeling blue - mistake w/ car rental reservation - don't rent to drivers under 25 yrs in Newfoundland. No wonder young people don't come.
  9. My cellphone (LGRumour) isn't working correctly - when sending texts, it reads "Mobile Station Originated SMS Denied Cause Code 97" - help?
  10. Falling in love with Nina Simone - "Wild is the Wind" - imagine a song with the sheer potency to replicate all the raw intensity of life.

  13. @ivanmironchuk Hard to say - I'd say at least 20+ people accessing the catalog via the free Reader (if possible) at different locations.
  14. @briangoff It is beautiful here, although the weather has been sort of standoffish. Went to St. Anthony last week though - beautiful country
  15. @weplaygreen Thanks for the #followfriday nod! I'll repay you the favour.
  16. @rogerhoward Nice! Thanks for the feedback - personally I use Lightroom - but for the National Park, we're thinking Expression Media.
  17. For the photo-inclined, this blog may provide some interesting ideas/tips - http://www.beardsworth.co.uk/news/ - also for photo archiving.
  18. Great blog - NY Times new photojournalism blog draws on current work & material in extensive image archive. http://lens.blogs.nytimes.com/
  19. @ivanmironchuk We want to have a central archive, but allow Park staff to access the archive (possibly using the Reader)? For now, planning.
  20. @ivanmironchuk Currently work for a National Park - we want to establish a DAM system (mostly images) - Microsoft Expression Media 2 maybe?
