  1. Why do I even bother with travel?
  2. Topanga Night! I don't understand how Vancouver has better Mexican than SF, better Chinese than Hong Kong, better hot dogs than New York...
  3. @timbray technically 2 pieces of sushi and a plug of wasabi. The poor guy who has to explain what his big green lump costume represents...
  4. @martinertl I like reading your LexPublica posts... they remind me how non-mainstream this stuff still is.
  5. A mascot here at the ball game is supposed to be a wad of wasabi. He could also plausibly be a booger if seen without his sushi sidekicks.
  6. @drance Fantastic. Please pass on another big thanks for the material that will glue me to my tv for the next 100+ consecutive hours.
  7. Our cat: 20+ square feet of impermeable, wipeable surface under her with 0.5 sf of cloth. Where does she choose to barf, without fail?
  8. Hm, Canadian Tire actually smells like tires.
  9. @laurenlgmarch Madness. Next thing you know you're gonna want the government to take over your health care needs.
  10. @adammaddox mm, sounds like leaving it on the floor would have been luckier.
  11. @laurenlgmarch America... love it or leave it, ya pinko.
  12. @adammaddox clearly I missed something by leaving early last night...
  13. So very tired. Boy has taken over dog's water dish as makeshift splash table.
  14. The short version of the G&M's periodic nutrition exposés always seems to be: processed food = screwed http://bit.ly/gmsalt
  15. I think the boy is *not* happily screaming at the top of his lungs... he's building a mental image of the room through echolocation.
  16. Catching up on my shredding (gd balance transfer cheques!), and rescuing a $300 espresso machine from the dump with a $1.89 fuse.
  17. @jeff_lamarche I love how the SIM tool is basically a very refined version of the paper clip you always needed with 80's and 90's Macs.
  18. Very much looking forward to Saturday. We'll be harnessing the boy up and lowering him into a vat of 6-week-old golden retriever puppies.
  19. @inkbase what frightens me is how shockingly accurate that seems and mine's only 10 months old.
  20. @fraserspeirs if you have the [redacted] dev release try dragging the inspector. Not sure if it's new behaviour but at least it's something.
