  5. COLARSE: to cut in line or to slip in some place uninvited (i.e to crash a party or an event).
  6. "Una pareja de Virginia se coló en una cena oficial en la Casa Blanca."
  7. "A Virginia couple crashed an official state dinner at the White House."
  8. SALIR A LA LUZ: to come to light, to become public #spanish
  9. "El escándalo salió a la luz cuando la pareja colgó las fotos en Facebook, jactándose de que habían estado en el evento."
  10. JACTARSE DE: to brag about, to boast about something #spanish
  11. "The scandal came to light when the couple posted photos on Facebook bragging that they had been at the event."
  12. COLGAR: Means “to hang” as in to hang a picture on a wall or “to hang up” the phone...
  13. ...but COLGAR also has the meaning “to post” stuff on the Internet, like a photo, a video, etc. #spanishlessons
  14. "The Secret Service said that the president wasn’t in any danger."

  16. CORRER PELIGRO: to be in danger, at risk (You can also say "ESTAR EN PELIGRO.") #spanishlessons
