Dad got out of ICU on Sat. Has infiltration in his arm from crappy IV care. Might be out tomorrow. Up walking around and giving nurses shit.

CJ has had a very happy birthday. He got everything he wanted and had a good day. Barely noticed we were gone. That's the important part.

Susan went in to see him and give us a status. He is doing great. They will have him sedated until tomorrow. Going home now. Back tomorrow.

Doc said he came through fine. Did all 4 arteries. Will be able to see him in about an hour.

Mom and Susan went out for a break. Thats when the doc came to talk. Didn't make it back in time to talk to him. Kinda mad about that.

So he's been on the bypass machine coming up on 2 hrs. Susan has begun pacing with my mom. Hoping for news soon.

Surgery started at 7:30. Should be about half done. No updates yet. Guess that's good. Keeping stress low. Working on stitch project.

The double bypass has been upgraded to a triple, which Susan says may end up as all 4 just so they don't have to later. Still tomorrow.

My dad is scheduled for a double heart bypass on wed. Which also happens to be CJ's birthday. And mine. 100% block in 1 artery, major in 2nd
