  4. One week from today I will have completed the PDX marathon. I'm so excited that I can't sleep.
  5. Claudia and I just got back to Portland. I'm craving my own bed, a hot shower, clean clothes, and snuggling up tomy man.

  7. We finished! Just behind Nuke who finished with a 5:00 pace. How's that possible? Our teams mostly drunk, half asleep and stinky.
  8. No cell reception for the past 12 hours. We are finishing the race. Claudia runs 7 and then I run 6 to the finish. http://twitpic.com/frgft
  9. We slept for about an hour and Claudia made us some awesome spaghetti. Our van starts running leg 2 at 3:45 am. I even got a shower.
  10. Ok- so I ran too fast aparently because Mike Vogt kept me waiting at the van exchange. Sound familiar?
  11. There are more ambulance than runners this year. We have almost finished our first set of legs. Team is running strong and the weathers nice

  14. I'm going to the H1N1 conference with Tracy Meyer tomorrow. Should we show up in our NASA suits? What if I have to sneeze during it?
  15. @ryanwfleming that's your vacation home, right? Not enough space for everyday living.
  16. Taught 8 am cycle, washed my car, dishes, laundry, and my hubby and baby are still fast asleep. I'm getting the short end of this stick.
  17. Thunder, lightning and dumping rain in Bend. Head for the beer gardens or showers. Time to party.
  18. Our team Skirting Disaster crossed the finish line at 5:15. 35:15 after we started. We're tired, hurt, hungry, dirty and ready to run 2010.
  19. The race is almost over. The heat is unbearable. Poor van 2 is going to be finishing in the 90s.
