  2. My review of sci-fi 'comedy' Starhyke is over at Sci-Fi London... http://tinyurl.com/ycs3dwp
  3. Where the Wild Things Are is a wonderful journey, and all so simple. The perfect antidote to Avatar's digital eye-bashing.
  4. #Avatar is a spectacular ride - CG is jaw-dropping - but the story is preachy and predictable. I'll stick to District 9 for proper sci-fi
  5. I've seen Avatar. Who wants to touch me?
  6. Last print issue of Electric Sheep out now. Has my article about the Abertoir fest and The Keep, sneak peek here http://tinyurl.com/yjqdpvf
  7. Old news but how fantastic is Darabont's The Mist? Creepy scenes, religious overtones and a bleak ending. The best King horror adaptation?
  8. First draft of sci-fi TV episode done. Only taken a few months but getting a good routine going, bring on draft 2.
  9. Watched Kung Fu Panda and Two Lovers - now there's a double bill for you. Panda was predictable but Lovers was refreshingly off-beat.
  10. @revoltingross re: Credence. Glad to hear it. Thought it might crop up soon as Lucien was mentioned in your week long podcast frenzy!
  11. Just stuffed my face at the Brighton Food Festival with a foot long hot dog - lovely!
  12. My review of Japanese teen drama Goth: Love of Death is over at Electric Sheep - http://tinyurl.com/lykcen
  13. Halfway through first draft of a TV show idea. Taken months to get this far but getting into a steady 2 page a day routine.
  14. Got the new Batman game #arkhamasylum. Goodbye bank holiday weekend...
  15. #Frightfest - Plenty of gore in The Hills Run Red but the tone is patchy and tries to be a bit too clever. Enjoyable homage to video nasties
  16. #Frightfest - Triangle was a solid opener. A boring half hour followed by an inventive take on the slasher genre. But does it add up?
  17. Going to check out #Frightfest. Can Triangle live up to such an awesome poster?
  18. @revoltingross It's out today?! Thought it was Friday, will have to run out and get it myself...
  19. Mega Shark! Giant Octopus! Review! At! Smell of Napalm! Now! http://tinyurl.com/mjozm4
  20. I watched the Shakma trailer 3 times in a row... http://tinyurl.com/2enhxq. Now worried Shakma has been made flesh and entered our world...
